North East Trees
"Although we have made some changes to our
look, in many respects, we are the same organization that was founded by
educator, landscape architect, and community activist, Scott Wilson, nearly 20
years ago. He started with a motto, “More Trees Are Better”. Over 30,000
planted trees later, we remain deeply committed to this goal. However, we have
learned how important it is to develop neighborhood and community capacity to
nurture or steward newly created, as well as existing, environmental
improvements."--from their website
